Lickleyhead Castle was recently written about by Archie Lumsden of The House of Lumsden Association. He goes into some depth in their Spring bulletin (2022) to uncover that family's connection to the castle as well as the history of the building generally. It's a fascinating read and he uncovered a few things that even I wasn't aware of. Please find the file below for download.
